Our book club choice for this January is The Necessary Revolution: How Individuals and Organizations Are Working Together to Create a Sustainable World. The author, Peter M. Senge, Ph.D. has been commended as one of the 24 people with the greatest influence on business strategy over the last 100 years (Journal of Business Strategy) and as one of Business Week’s Top Ten Management Gurus. His most famous book, The Fifth Discipline, was identified by Harvard Business Review as one of the most important management books in the past 75 years.

Net Impact Boston has the good fortune of welcoming him at an event scheduled for the first week in February 2009. The Necessary Revolution … will not only help prepare you for his visit, but will show that people at every level within every organization have the ability and innovative spirit to do extraordinary things. Even if you haven’t finished the book, please still do come, we can consider it a good time to just talk amongst some like minded folks.
