Equal Exchange is the award-winning, employee-owned and governed, $35 million social enterprise that helped create the Fair Trade food category in the United States. Rodney North is their Answer Man, as well as a 14-year employee-owner and Board Director.
Rodney will share the story of Equal Exchange’s highly improbable success at creating a new trade model that benefits small farmers around the world even while creating one of the most successful worker co-operatives in North America. He will focus on the lessons Equal Exchange has to share with future social entrepreneurs.
