Massachusetts Horticultural Society Marketplace Festival
August 7th at the Gardens at Elm Bank in Wellesley
New England farmers, specialty food producers, and artisans will come together for the 14th annual Massachusetts Marketplace Festival on Saturday, August 7th from 10am-4pm at the Gardens at Elm Bank in Wellesley. For additional information please visit masshort.org.

Boston GreenFest
August 19 – August 21 at Boston City Hall Plaza
Organized by the Foundation for a Green Future, Inc., Boston GreenFest is an environmental and multicultural festival, celebrating the many ways we can create a better world by greening our lives and our communities. More at bostongreenfest.org.

Summer Chef Series
August 25 in North Andover, MA
The 2010 Summer Chef Series, highlighting fresh local fare and wonderful summer wine pairings, will host some of Greater-Boston’s best chefs dedicated to using in-season local fare. Each chef will demonstrate signature dishes using fresh Smolak Farms produce and provide tastes for all in attendance. Wines will be paired by the Wineconnextion with the event presented on the picturesque grounds of Smolak Farms. 21+ only. Location: Smolak Farms, 315 South Bradford Street. Board Fellows Program
Non-Profit Organizations – Does your organization need additional board support? Would you like a fresh prospective and additional input? If so, we encourage you to apply to Net Impact Boston’s Board Fellows program. We place committed professionals with local non-profit organizations to act as participants on boards and help perform relevant projects. The program brings valuable business skills to non-profits and allows non-profits to cultivate potential new board members.
