September 2010 President’s Corner
The month of September marks the official end of summer, which I must say I’m starting to feel. Students are arriving back in Boston to begin a new school year, the leaves are just starting to lose some of their bright green hue and I, for one, am looking forward to apple picking sometime in the near future.
September also brings with it a number of fun and exciting Net Impact Boston events and opportunities. The Green Innovation in Business Network’s 2010 Boston Solutions Lab will be held on September 16th. Members of the NIB leadership team attended this event last year and had nothing but great things to say about it. On September 29th Net Impact Boston will be holding a Professional Networking Happy Hour for new and veteran Net Impact Boston professionals. Come out to this event if you’d like to meet some new members or if you have an interest in getting more involved in Net Impact Boston in 2011. In addition to these events, NIB will also be accepting applications for the fall installments of the Corporate Responsibility Consulting and Board Fellows programs. As you can see, there are plenty of ways to get engaged in Net Impact Boston this fall – keep reading for more details!
