Dec 2011: President’s Corner

writerHappy December,

It is only by historical coincidence that we have left behind a day dedicated to being thankful and find ourselves in the season of giving. I hope that you find the opportunity to be both grateful and generous this month.  Please see our announcements and events sections for ideas!

Also, please join me in thanking and congratulating Kimberly Coletti.  Kim has been our Membership Chair for the last year and a half.  She’s been an amazing asset and showed great dedication to NIB, especially while on an extended assignment in England.  Kim will be joining the Connecticut non-profit Save the Children as their Director, Fundraising Best Practices and Innovation. Save the Children is the leading independent organization creating lasting change in the lives of children in need in the United States and around the world.  If you are interested in speaking to us about filling Kim’s (big) shoes, please see the Announcements Section for more information.

Wishing You the Best,
Monica and the NIB Team
