September 2012: President’s Corner
Hello Net Impact Boston,
September brings so many changes to our city and our lives. The NIB Board also begins a new chapter year in September.
Over the last couple of months, we have worked to elect a team and we have had great success. Please join me in congratulating Barbara Seymour, Net Impact Boston’s new chapter President. Barbara has played multiple roles on our team this past year and has shown an ability and willingness to take accountability for the chapter’s continued growth, success and positive impact. Barbara is a graduate of the Fletcher School with an MIB degree in Business/International Affairs and currently works at Ceres.
We would also like to welcome and congratulate the newest members of our Board: Robert Hart, Melissa Small, Laurie Burgess, Chris Reber, Tom Reid, Robert Schultz, Liz Leberman, Jaclyn O’Shea Lauber and Betsy Yoshimura. Thank you for joining us in support of our members.
Finally, some of our long-term teammates are moving on. Thank you so very much to Devon Long-Lytle, Hannah Doran, Ian Lavery, Maura Hodge and Yasie Saadatnejadi for your dedication and contributions to Net Impact Boston. We’ll miss you.
To a New Year!
