Bill Drayton, the “godfather of social entrepreneurship” will join us for a conversation with Net Impact founder Mark Albion and Ashoka Fellows Eric Dawson and Jake Shapiro.

Ashoka is a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding and fostering social entrepreneurs worldwide by providing change-making leaders around the world with social venture capture to solve the world’s most urgent social problems. Jean Caroon, a principal architect at Goody Clancy and the author of Sustainable Preservation: Greening Existing Buildings, will discuss sustainability and “green building”. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is one such tool, but today’s LCAs are too complex and costly to integrate easily into the product design process. APC by Schneider Electric has embarked on a program to “industrialize” LCAs — create a life cycle tool within the product design process that can quickly and cost effectively support product designers while they are designing new products.

Join us as we learn about APC by Schneider Electric’s journey from Ray Lizotte, Director of the Environmental Stewardship Office. Presentation will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with LCA and product design experts, including SolidWorks and Pure Strategies.
