Vote for Your Favorite Innovative Ideas
Net Impact Boston was an outreach partner for the Revelation to Action competition hosted by Ashoka’s Changemakers and Green Mountain Coffee. Fifteen finalists were announced last week and we want their innovative ideas for improving communities in the Northeast to be read by as many people as possible. So take a minute, check out the finalists, and cast your vote for your three favorite ideas. Here’s how:
1. Sign in or register at Changemakers.com. To register, you will need to create a profile (this helps prevent voter fraud).
2. Go to the Revelation to Action competition.
3. Scroll down and you will see a list of entries with vote buttons on the left. To read short descriptions of each project, click “Preview” next to the title.
4. Choose your three favorite entries. If you haven’t signed in, clicking on “Vote” will prompt you to create a new profile or sign in.
That’s it! And if after checking out the fifteen finalists you still want more, there are another ~340 great ideas thanks to the other amazing entrants.
Note: Voting closes on June 30!
Show Us Your Impact: Apply for The Force for Change Award
It’s time to applaud Net Impact members for their success! Formerly known as the Net Impact Challenge, The Force for Change Award recognizes Net Impact members who have engaged in environmental or social impact projects in the last year. Our award is specifically focused on the folks behind grassroots efforts-undergraduates, graduate students, and professionals who lead projects from the ground up. A panel of judges will choose winners in each category based on the tangible, measurable impact of applicants’ projects, as well as the qualitative impact, creativity, and long-term potential.
Download the application here. The deadline is June 11.
