Annual Speed Networking Event! Save the Date – June 4
The annual NIB Speed Networking event will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the Microsoft NERD Center. This is the premier annual networking event for corporate social responsibility, sustainability and non-profit professionals, and is one of our most popular events. Our talented and diverse members are active leaders in various sectors “Where Good Works” – creating new businesses, making connections, inspiring change, and working together to make a difference. This exciting event is designed to support the mobility and success of this strong community.
This year’s event will include VIP guests from the following six topic areas: Social Impact Measurement, Collective Consumption, Water, Sustainable Transport, Renewable Energy, and Public/Private Partnerships. IMPACT AT WORK(shop) Mon. 11/26
Want to start a social or environmental movement in your workplace? Every project has to start somewhere. But diving in head-first isn’t necessarily the most effective way to make change that truly lasts – taking the time to map out the direction of your project can make all the difference.
Our hands-on Impact at Work(shop) gives participants the tools to implement change in any organization. Through discussion and activity-based exercises the workshop empowers participants to develop projects scaled to their organization’s specific needs and challenges.
The Impact at Work(shop) event will provide a small group the chance to really dig in on making a difference at the place many of us spend much of our time thinking about – current and future workplaces!
