The crisp weather and colorful leaves serve as a constant reminder that fall is in full swing. The holiday season is fast approaching and with it will come the end of the 2010 term of the current Net Impact Boston leadership team. I was personally reminded of what an exciting year we’ve had so far when I filled out NIB’s application for Chapter of the Year. We’ve had a host of exciting events and placed almost 15 individuals between the Board Fellows and CRC programs (just to briefly share a few of our accomplishments).
I’d love to see the momentum continue into 2011 and as such would like to use this installment of the President’s Corner as a call to leadership. For those of you who are interested in getting more engaged, there are many different levels of involvement including committee, director and VP roles. We’ll be holding the official call to leadership meeting sometime during the first two weeks of December. If you are interested in getting more involved, or would like to learn more about what a particular role entails, please feel free to email me at email@example.com.
One last item I’d like to mention – for those of you who were unable to make it to the national conference in Ann Arbor but would like to learn more about what went on, we’ll be holding a report-out event on Tuesday, November 2 at Kingston Station. If you couldn’t make it to the conference, I hope to see you there!
