Hello Net Impact Boston Members,
Ahhh, August. It marks the beginning of what some Kevins would argue is the best 3 month period of the year. Over the next few months, NIB intends to make an admirable contribution to the nostalgia generator that is late summer/early autumn. We’ll start things off quietly this month: while we are busy shaping the latest version of our Leadership Team, the rest of you can enjoy the sun, sunsets, moon, meteor showers and occasional electrical storm. Just save some time and room for the(Sustainability) Breakfast on 8/19. More details of what lies ahead in September can be found below, so please read on.
Before I sign off, however, I should mention that this is my final month as President of Net Impact Boston, which makes this my last installment of the President’s Corner (sniffle, sniffle). It has been an exciting and interesting year, and it has indeed been an honor to lead such an outstanding organization, so thanks to all who have participated and contributed to our efforts over the past 12 months.
Over the next 12 months, I will serve as Vice President in support of our new President, Laura Teicher. Laura has been expertly (and tirelessly) leading our Events Team over the past 2 years, and she is thrilled for the opportunity to serve you all and lead NIB forward in the coming months. We are in good hands.
