September 2015 President’s Corner

Hello and Happy (Net Impact Boston Chapter) New Year!

This is going to be an exciting year for our chapter, with renewed focus on providing distinct value through fresh opportunities to engage with Boston’s impact community, to share best practices, and to access robust contentOn September 1st, we kicked off the new NIB year with, “Boston’s Sustainability Community Talks Paris COP21,” an event hosted in collaboration with BASG and SBN featuring expert speakers and in-depth dialogue around the upcoming UN climate change negotiations. And, as some of you may have noticed, this weekend we launched an updated website!

Tomorrow, NIB will launch a consulting challenge pilot: local social entrepreneurs will present one of their greatest organizational challenges or business problems to attending NIB members, who will work in breakout groups to tackle the issues at hand.

To those moving on from our Leadership Team this year, thank you for all of the hard work that you put into laying the groundwork for successes past and to come. Please join me in welcoming our new Leadership Team for the 2015-2016 year! And a BIG thank you also goes to YOU, our membership, for the enthusiasm and participation that you contribute.  Please share your ideas and input for the coming year via our member survey so that we can continue to grow and improve the value that we offer to you.

Here’s to another great year together!
