If you could interview anyone, alive or passed, whom would it be and why?

Ecologist and naturalist writer, Aldo Leopold. I am inspired by his ability to understand natural systems and describe our place in them. I would love to get his naturalist perspective on how we make things in contemporary practice.

What part of Boston’s sustainability/social impact scene is your favorite?

I’m excited about the DoneGood app, which is based here. I think that a one-size-fits all sustainability/consumer consciousness is reaching its inevitable end. The future is in sustainability segmentation. The DoneGood app makes that brilliantly simple.

If you had one super-power to help tackle one social issue, what would that power be?

An empathy ray, so I could zap people from one side of an issue with a raygun that made them sincerely empathetic to the concerns of other stakeholders. I think people on opposite sides of social and environmental issues often times wrongly doubt the sincerity of their interlocutors. I would love an empathy ray that could fix that.
