Jordan Dey is the Vice-President of GrainPro, a social enterprise dedicated to reducing hunger and poverty around the world. GrainPro manufactures and distributes hermetically-sealed, grain storage and solar drying systems to reduce post-harvest losses for smallholder farmers without the use of pesticides.
Prior to GrainPro, Mr. Dey served as the US Director for the UN World Food Program where he led policy and government relations for the world’s largest humanitarian agency. Dey also served on the front-lines of humanitarian crises across the globe for WFP, including Afghanistan, Pakistan, Colombia, Sri Lanka, and Central America. Dey earned his Master’s degree from John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, and his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
