Pat Hermann is NIB’s new Internal Communication and Operations chair. With his broad experience in energy and information technology (IT), he aims to leverage his knowledge to deliver value to the Net Impact community which he has been a part of since 2012.
Pat is currently a Desktop Services Specialist 2 at Boston University’s Information Services and Technology (IS&T) department focusing on major initiatives such an energy conservation platform for university computers. He has also founded the non-profit service, WoodTable, aimed to deliver a simple web-platform for non-profits to pursue energy conservation along with reducing costs. He is also the GIS & Technology Consultant for HH Consultores, a major transportation firm in the Dominican Republic.
He is currently pursuing his MBA at the Boston University Questrom School of Business and holds both a Graduate Certificate in Applied Sustainability and a BA in Environmental Policy from Boston University.
In his spare enjoys following renewable energy and technology, cycling, corgis and The West Wing.
