The Racial Equity and Justice Learning Group aims to explore the intersections of race, sustainability and social impact across a variety of societal topics. Led by Net Impact Boston (NIB) leadership team members, the group brings together a local and broader community looking to learn and reflect on these issues through mostly virtual discussion based meetings that are open to the public.

Our goals are:

  • To create a safe space for discussion

  • To connect and process in the virtual world/pandemic

  • To share resources

  • To grow as a community

  • To take stock of the lessons from our discussions and translate them into real world actions we can take to advance racial equity and justice

Our previous events have included:

  • REJ Black Heritage Trail

  • REJ Indigenous Rights

  • REJ Environmental Justice

  • REJ Education

  • REJ Intersectionality of LGBTQ+

  • REJ Asian Hate Crimes.
