The Racial Equity and Justice Learning Group aims to explore the intersections of race, sustainability and social impact across a variety of societal topics. Led by Net Impact Boston (NIB) leadership team members, the group brings together a local and broader community looking to learn and reflect on these issues through mostly virtual discussion based meetings that are open to the public.
Our goals are:
To create a safe space for discussion
To connect and process in the virtual world/pandemic
To share resources
To grow as a community
To take stock of the lessons from our discussions and translate them into real world actions we can take to advance racial equity and justice
Our previous events have included:
REJ Black Heritage Trail
REJ Indigenous Rights
REJ Environmental Justice
REJ Education
REJ Intersectionality of LGBTQ+
REJ Asian Hate Crimes.
